Sacramento police ask help identifying woman in fight

SACRAMENTO, CA - Sacramento police want to identify the parties in a fight in the downtown area early Monday morning in order to check on the welfare of a woman involved.

Officer Doug Morse said the altercation involved a woman and a multiple others in the area of K and 22 streets. Officers arrived at 12:11 a.m. but everyone had left.

Witnesses told police everyone got into a light blue, older compact car with with right-side brake light out. Officers found a silver chain necklace with a glass butterfly in the area.

The woman was described as black, in her mid 20s and about 5 feet 8 inches tall.

Surveillance camera photos show the woman and car in question as well as the recovered necklace.
